Nature reserve between Penrith and Keswick. The special feature of the site was a series of roughly parallel valley mires between ridges. The wetland vegetation types included M4, M6, M9, M18, M21 and S27. In 2013 we set up a bog vegetation monitoring scheme at Durham Wildlife Trust.

Durham Women fell to a crushing 4-1 defeat to Aston Villa at New Ferens Park in the FA WSL2. In their first home game in over a month, the Wildcats were beaten by a brace a piece from Beth Merrick and Olivia Fergusson, though Jemma Purfield did offer a stunning response to give Durham a showing on the score sheet and end the game 4-1.
